DILLIAN WHYTE’S CLAIMS HE’S READY TO risk it all in the ring with Oleksandr Usyk after the Ukrainian beat Anthony Joshua on points last night.
The British boxer wasn’t phased by Usyk’s performance in the fight which saw him leave White Hart Lane with Joshua‘s heavyweight belts.
Whyte doesn’t think Usyk done anything special in the brawl and believes if he was in the ring with him, it would be an all-out war.
Following the fight’s conclusion, Whyte said: “I don’t give a fxck about him [Usyk], he didn’t outbox Joshua, I’ll go to war with him.”Embed from Getty Images Embed from Getty Images
And that’s the quality which sets him apart from his boxing peers who ain’t ready to do the same and put their lives on the line to secure victory.
The Jamaican-born slugger added: “That’s the difference between me and these guys, I’ll go to war.
“If the chips are down, I’ll swing it out.”
But Whyte wouldn’t say the same about rival Joshua who he thinks has lost his heart in the ring and no longer possesses the inner fire to win.
Speaking on Joshua’s heart, he said: “He doesn’t seem hungry anymore, he’s lost the dog in him, it can happen sometimes.”
